Kīpū Ranch
Some of the most beautiful places on Kauaʻi are at our homebase on Kīpū Ranch. 3,000 acres of rolling green jungle all the way up to the Hāʻupu Mountain Range, with waterfalls tucked into the valley that most visitors will never know are there.
Hollywood in Kauai
You've probably seen Kīpū Ranch too. Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and the Pirates of the Caribbean were all fimed here. On a tour with us you can live out your Indiana Jones heroics or see where Laura Dern and Sam Neil ran from dinosaurs. Click here if you're interested in learning more about filming locations we see.
Pick your waterfall
Generations of Kauaʻi kids grew up jumping into Kīpū Falls. Then it closed, and for years nobody could get near it. Now you can! The Kīpū Falls & Treehouse Hike is a 1.5 mile walk across the ranch with a stop at a jungle treehouse. Swim, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Kids 5 and up are welcome.
On the Hidden Valley Falls Kayak & Hike, you paddle the Huleʻia, hike into Hidden Valley, and grab the rope swing at Pirate Pool, the same pool that turned up in Pirates of the Caribbean. Then, instead of paddling back against the current, you're taken back by a twin-hull Hawaiian canoe.
4-in-1 Day
Having a hard time choosing? Do all of it. The Kīpū Safari is kayaking, hiking, swimming, ziplining, lunch in the middle of a valley, and a canoe cruise back. One very full, very good day.
Want to earn it?
The Wailua River Kayak & Waterfall Hike is our workout. Hawaiʻi's largest tropical river, then a two mile roundtrip through the rainforest to ʻUluwehi Falls, better known as Secret Falls. You will be muddy. You will be grinning. Every one of these trails ends somewhere you cannot drive to. Pick your trips, and we will see you out there!
All zipline adventures begin at beautiful, historic Kīpū Ranch, while our kayaking tours (except the Wailua river trip) launch right from Nawiliwili Harbor. Wherever your journey starts, expect an easy check-in, ample parking, and a warm welcome. Your expert local guides do more than lead the way. They share island history, Hawaiian folklore, and their favorite local food spots to make every experience both thrilling and meaningful.
