Your Kauai Connection – March 2026

Aloha Ohana!

March on Kauaʻi brings a little extra sparkle. The island is still glowing from winter rains, waterfalls are showing off, and the days feel just right for getting outside and chasing a little adventure.

Whether you’re flying over Kīpū Ranch, gliding along a calm river, or hiking your way to a hidden waterfall, March is made for moving, laughing, and making memories you’ll talk about long after the trip is over. We’re so glad to be part of your Kauaʻi story and can’t wait to adventure with you

Tour Spotlight: Kipu Zipline Safari

This tour is basically a choose-your-own-adventure, Kauaʻi-style. You’ll kayak upriver on the Huleʻia, warming up those arms before heading onto exclusive private land at historic Kīpū Ranch for ziplines that send you flying over valleys, trees, and seriously unreal views.

You’ll cross suspension bridges, laugh a lot, and probably say “wow” more than once. Then, just when you think the adventure’s over, you get a smooth ride back downriver in a traditional Hawaiian canoe, because paddling back upwind after all that fun would just be rude.

Big adventure, great views, and a few well-earned laughs along the way.

Traveling with Kids?

The Hidden Valley Falls Kayak Adventure is a great pick for families who want to get outside without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The day starts with a gentle paddle down the Huleʻia River, followed by a short jungle hike into Hidden Valley, where kids can explore, splash, and cool off at the waterfalls.

The pace is relaxed and the trail is kid-friendly, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. Parents love the guide support and safety focus, and kids love feeling like they’re on a real adventure. It’s active, scenic, and just the right mix of fun and laid-back — the kind of experience that turns into a family favorite.

‘Iki Nui: Stories from the Island

Guests heading out on Zipline Tour on Kipu Ranch with Outfitters Kauai

March on Kauaʻi carries a sense of transition. The land is still lush from winter rains, waterfalls continue to flow, and the days begin to stretch a little longer. There’s a feeling of movement in the air, an invitation to explore while staying grounded in the rhythms of the island.

In Hawaiian culture, how we move through ʻāina matters. The journey itself shapes our connection, whether traveling by foot, water, or even through the air. Gaining a higher vantage point, like on the Nui Kauaʻi Zipline, offers a rare perspective of the valleys below and a reminder of how expansive and interconnected this landscape truly is.

As the season shifts toward spring, we’re grateful for the opportunity to share these places and stories with our community and guests. May March inspire curiosity, respect for the land, and moments of presence that deepen our connection to Kauaʻi.

Word on the Zipline

What an awesome & fun experience! Ryker & Ely were total pros and not just with the zip-line, but also with a bit of history of the ranch and Kaua’i in general. This is worth it!!!
