The Nui just got Nui-er.
Our Zipline Trek Nui Loa was Kauai’s greatest zipline adventure and now it’s even faster, higher, longer and more fun! In Hawaiian, “Nui Loa” means “big,” “long,” and “a lot.” And “Nui Nui” means “to enlarge” ...well, that describes our newest, and just re-named, zipline adventure perfectly. We’ve been working hard and we’ve made our greatest zipline tour even greater.

We’ve opened up three brand new super-fun 1000’ tandem ziplines, and we’ve done a remodel of our original lines, amping up the adrenaline in this already popular adventure. That brings the Nui Nui Loa to a jaw-dropping total of nine lines and 14 cables.

You’ll be flying over the famous Kipu Ranch—4000 acres of beautiful, diverse terrain from 3000’ mountains to pristine jungle valleys and rivers. Maybe you saw it in the academy award-winning movie, “The Descendants”. Zip high above lush valleys and tumbling waterfalls. Take in the spectacular sights from a series of suspension bridges, aerial walkways, and an amazing tree house. Double your fun soaring right next to your partner on tandem lines.

ZIP. EIGHTEEN. HUNDRED. FEET. That’s right, our 1800’ tandem ziplines are the ultimate kick. Soar past the breathtaking Ha‘upu Mountains and over towering trees. Check out the look on your buddy’s face as you fly side-by-side.

We’ve put together a really diverse zipline course. You’ll be riding platform-to-platform ziplines, center-dismount, and even a zippel, that combines ziplining with rappelling. Our center-dismount type lines are unique and set us apart, allowing for speeds and ride times unmatched on Kauai. And hang on for a ride that’s wild, and wet! Our WaterZip is fun for everyone. Just hold on, step off and zip over a mountain stream-fed, natural swimming pool. Let go and jump into the clear, deep waters of the secluded Bamboo Pool, or just relax and float.

Guests should check in at Outfitters Kauai in Poipu. Check-in for the morning tour is 7:15am, return at 1:30pm. Afternoon tour checks in at 11:15pm and returns at 5:30pm.

This tour includes a great lunch. Your choice is either a Turkey Watercress Wrap (smoked turkey, watercress, cream cheese, sprouts, cucumber, tomato, onion, and black olives in a tortilla), or a Mediterranean Veggie Wrap (hummus, lettuce, tomato, kalamata olives, cucumber, and feta cheese in a tortilla). Lunch comes with pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookie. Cold drinks are available thoughout the day.

Shorts & t-shirt with swimwear underneath, windbreaker or light rain coat, sneakers or sport sandals, sunscreen, hat, bug spray and camera. No flip flops or slippers, please. You can purchase many of these items at our Poipu shop, and also rent sport sandals.

You must weigh less than 275lbs in order to fit into the safety harness. The minimum age requirement is seven years of age.

Please note that occasionally tour guides will need to change locations or sequence of activities for hindrances such as fallen trees or raging waterfalls. But don't worry, we have lots of fun up our sleeves in case of flying monkeys or whatever obstacle we may encounter.
